Marketing and Recession

A recession is a general slowdown in economic activity over a sustained period of time, or a business cycle contraction.

During these tough times businesses are trying to cut their marketing budget and trying to focus more on saving and spending this some where else, here they have to understand that this might adversly affect. Infact they should spend more on Marketing rather then cutting or saving.

Research have shown that businesses that do not decrease the budget get's response some times better then the Normal times.

Basically this is time to redesign your marketing plan, like if you were launching a new product better to delay it a little again depending upon your Market Segment. Just try to go for same way of marketing with less cost.. Do not Do not Do not lessen your budget until it's extremely necessary.

We cannot ignore the financial difficulties that our country and even whole world is facing today, but today you should understand the gravity of marketing during the recession, try to explore how to set a marketing budget during these times.
