Darkest day in Pakistan

Things are getting worst since Benazir Bhutto is dead.

Violence in all the cities of Pakistan is getting worst.

In Karachi angry crowd has burned the hospital, now over here I cannot understand WHAT will happen after burning the Hospital or any Restaurant Franchise or any Car or any Bank?

Following Reports received from the city and adjoining areas:
30 trucks of Pepsi looted / burnt
Shops at Schon circle - Dewan Motors, KASB Bank, etc burnt
Al-Abbas Industries Dhabeji looted and their Carbide Plant burnt
OK Oil Mills in Dhabeji totally burnt
Oil Tanker blown up in Dhabeji causing much damage
Stone Throwing reported in relatively quiet area of Dhoraji also!
Lyari is unmentionable
Godown of Muhammad Farooq Textile burnt
BBQ Tonite also attacked and some part burnt

Now People SHOULD understand that nothing will happen after all this we the people have to live in PAKISTAN and these Politicians will just an away after making money.

PEOPLE of PAKISTAN SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THEY HAVE TO MAINTAIN PEACE.

AlQaeda or Taliban; Bush or Nawaz Sharif; Musharraf or any one else is not the culprit.

INfact the culprit are WE We our self.... We have to understand this these strikes, violence will just screw with our economy and will help Investors ran away.

Who will INVEST in Pakistan? why any Businessman will come in a Nation where there is 10 day OFFICIAL holiday?

Where people cannot travel with in the city... where people cannot go to the shop because shop is closed due to the violence in the city.

People of Pakistan should come to live and whats gone is gone.. help Pakistan to be better not to go out and screw the shops, hospitals e.t.c

Again this is a Request to maintain PEACE.

Callmate hits back-to-back ceilings

KARACHI: The scrip of Callmate Telips continued to enjoy the upper lock last week. This is indicative of the substantial confidence of the shareholders on the new management of Callmate. Buyers are demanding 4.7 million shares but at current prices, they are reluctant to sell out. This move signifies that shareholders are waiting for share prices to meet buyers' purchase value.
Some positive developments have also taken place in the Callmate as a result of the meeting amongst Callmate's Chairman Audit Committee Saleem Shahzad, Chairman Muhammad Jawaid Iqbal, Senior executive vice president (SEVP) & Group Chief and Junaid Alam, Regional Corporate Head-Karachi, Allied Bank who is a major creditor of the company and has rescheduled its loan of Rs: 250 million.
The shareholders have greatly appreciated this professional and progressive measure of ABP. On the other hand, the Chief Executive Officer Asif Shehzad and Director Syed Usman Haroon had a constructive meeting with the officials of PTCL in Islamabad whereby the PTCL has agreed to facilitate Callmate to restart its business and asked the Company to submit viable proposals for the mutual benefits of PTCL and Callmate.

Stock of CallMate

KARACHI: The scrip of Callmate Telips on Thursday closed at upper lock (Rs 14.20) after hitting 23 lower locks continuously and sinking to Rs 13.20 on December 12 2007 from RS 45.25 on November, 8 2007.The story started after the company had announced an unexpected result on 12 November 2007.
The company posted loss after taxation of Rs 359 mn (LPS of Rs. 5.50) in FY07 as compared to profit after taxation of Rs 603 mn (EPS of Rs. 9.23) in FY06. The investors and analysts were expecting profitable results but loss has shocked the overall investor's sentiment.
Yesterday the game started after 12 pm when callmate again hit the lower lock at Rs12.20, but after 12 pm the buying started both in open as well as in odd lot markets and this continuous buying from some brokers helped close the scrip with its upper lock at RS 14.20. The overall 6.6 million shares were traded in open market. Shujaat Ali Qarni, the new chairman of the Callmate Telips, is now looking to reestablish the company. Callmate has to pay off around Rs.1 billion payable to PTCL.
According to our sources the officials of Pakistan telecommunication authority are also negotiating PTCL management about these huge liabilities.
We expect that in the coming weeks there may be some changes expected in Callmate Telips Company.

Help them!

On my way back to office in the morning I saw this cute nice boy cutting onions in one of the street hotel.

I wish I had enough to pay him daily for his expenses and ask him to study.

I request every one to find these kind of people and help them as much as you can.
